Perambalur Social
Service Society came into being in the 1998, with
the bifurcation of the social service wing of the
diocese of Kumbakonam, caters to the needs of the
resource poor and oppressed communities, who form
the vast majority of this part of the diocese. The
Diocese covers a large area of the central and
eastern parts of Tamil Nadu state. An area of 7,
